Kjeldahl digestion/ignition unit with gas scrubber

Temperature range: from ambient to 450 °C

Digestion time range: from 40 to 300 minutes

Sample rack: 4 x 250 ml tubes

Consumed power:  1800 W

Cost effective solution

Wet combustion/ignition is the most labour and time consuming stage of the Kjeldal analysis. This stage consists of complete combustion of sample in sulphuric acid.

The digestion oven/ assimilation furnace is a semiautomatic device to perform the combusion of the sample in in sulphuric acid with presence of catalyst.

 Features and benefits:

  • Simultaneous combustion of 4 samples
  • High-quality heat-resistant glass tubes to ensure safety
  • High operation temperature (450° C) and low inertia of heating considerably cuts down the sample combustion time
  • Up to 10 user - predefined 10 - steps (heating time and temperature) heating programs
  • Gas scrubber for corrosive and toxic vapours drawing and neutaralization is included into standard delivery set
  • Automatic system for sample rack lift and descent can be supplied optionally
